Announcing the winners of the 2022 RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards! – Women of influence

We are proud to announce the seven winners of the 30e Annual RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards. These winners join the five recipients of the Ones to Watch Emerging Entrepreneur category, which was announced in September of this year.

Winners in each of the award categories are inspiring and resilient leaders who have demonstrated what it takes to succeed in today’s rapidly changing economy. This year’s cohort of recipients covers sectors such as social-emotional learning, human resources, clean technology, construction, health and beauty, AI and more.

“For 30 years, the RBC Canadian Women’s Business Awards have brought to light countless stories of women innovators and leaders who are transforming the business landscape in Canada – and this year the winners are further testament to the leadership, passion and ingenuity that emerge from this community,” said Sean Amato-Gauci, Executive Vice President, Business Financial Services, RBC. “As we launch a new decade of the 2022 RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards, we are excited to hear about and share more of these remarkable stories of entrepreneurship and to celebrate the achievements of exceptional women in Canada Company.”

Now in her 30’se year, the RBC Canadian Women’s Entrepreneur Awards program recognizes the country’s most significant women entrepreneurs and business leaders who have made impressive and substantial contributions to the local, Canadian or global economy. The awards program judging panel is made up of 15 judges who are among Canada’s top business leaders, including: Françoise Lyon, President and Managing Partner, DGC Capital; Christine Scott, Founder, The Complice Project; Surranna Sandy, CEO, Skills for Change; Elizabeth Dipchand, Intellectual Property Lawyer, Dipchand LLP and Janis Nixon, Director of Corporate Engagement, Futurpreneur.

The official announcement of the 2022 winners was made on the 30e Annual RBC Canadian Women Entrepreneur Awards Gala, held at the Fairmont Royal York on November 23rd and moderated by Marcia MacMillan, Presenter, CTV News Channel.

This year, more than 9,000 entries were received to recognize women entrepreneurs from across the country. The 2022 winners are:

The gala also honored the Ones to Watch award recipients: Caitlyn Vanderhaeghe, KidStar Nutrients; Fadwa Mohanna, One37 ID; Lisa Karandat and Alexa Monahan, Good Juju Body & Home; Shannon Hunter, Take a Walk Through the Complex; and Tiffany Callender, The African Canadian Economic Federation (FACE).
