New ranking reveals the best universities in Canada for 2022

If there is one thing we are sure of, it is that people love to rank universities. And, perhaps no publication more than Times Higher Education keeps us up to date with the cream of the crop, academically. A new ranking presents the best universities in Canada for 2022. So let’s take a look!

For the ranking, Times Higher Education uses 13 different “indicators” which can be summarized in four areas. These are teaching, research, knowledge transfer and internationalization. So think about things like the number of papers published in a given year, the number of doctorates awarded by the university, and the student-to-staff ratio.

18. University of Toronto
37. University of British Columbia
