To this end, local enterprises are making great efforts in design, processing and marketing, to build the country’s first online and offline business platform for the incense industry, the room of Chinese incense culture exhibition and Chinese incense production center. Companies are also working to extend the industrial chain of incense, making incense-related products better integrated with tea, meditation, music, painting and kitchen.
As a supporting facility of Putian arts and crafts base, an incense cultivation industrial park is under construction. The industrial park aims to integrate the culture of incense with new technologies, such as virtual reality (VR) and artificial intelligence (AI), highlights and popularizes the culture of incense, designing “scenery of incense” for tourists, by organizing exchange events and competitions, and by organizing artistic performances related to incense.
It will also coordinate with Putian’s traditional industries, including the gold and jewelry industry and the footwear industry, to form a synergy of industrial chains.
